Powers

Mutant Power: Geo-thermal power

Extents (ability):   Illyana has the ability to generate and project bursts of heat (up to at least 850 degrees Fahrenheit) and flame. Magma can use this ability to turn nearby rock molten. She can then telekinetically hurl this rock at an opponent. When using her powers, Magma usually shifts, by act of will, into a glowing form that shines with intense light and gives off intense heat. Magma possesses invulnerability (within no known limit) to heat or flame and from being blinded by intense light.

She also has the psionic ability to control the area of tectonic plates under the surface of the ground within a radius of a few thousand feet, thereby creating earthquakes within that area. Magma can also cause magma (molten rock, lava) to rise from underground and break through the Earth's surface, thereby creating miniature volcanoes, and hurl molten rock telekinetically.

Special limitations --- Magma can trigger small earth tremors when in her human form, but can only generate heat or flame or telekinetically hurl molten rock when she is in her glowing form. Magma's powers depend on her maintaining contact with the Earth or whichever planet she is on, or at least with a floor that is part of a structure in contact with the ground. Magma's powers are linked to her emotions; hence, by losing her temper she can temporarily lose control of her powers.
 

Personality
Psychological Background:  Illyana is a strong minded woman, having gone from one country to another, she had learned to adapt at where she's living. She hates people that think they're the shit, no one is better then the other, let's face it. We all wipe are asses the same way.

Personality Quirks: Illyana hates the color  yellow and hates with a passion clowns. Let alone the Pink Floyd album 'Echoes'. It freaks her out and gives her nightmares. 

History
General History: Illyana grew up in London with her adopted father and was soon moved from London to Brazil and it wasn't until her powers started to manifest that her father upon speaking to Charles Xavier. She was soon living in New York, learning about her powers, how powerful they could truly be and how powerful they could become.

Of course being there she met many of the original X-men, but it wasn't long before Charles had opened up a school in Alaska and she was soon sent there. Meeting many different people and one of them being the infamous Warren Worthington.

From a rocky start of a relationship at the school, to it being attacked and in the process Illyana becoming paralyzed. She and warren left Alaska an went to New  York in search of the best doctors that money could buy to help her regain the ability to walk. It did happen and before she had been completely healed, the two of them had become engaged.
 

Of course, with Warren's inability at holding on to a committed relationship when it came to marriage, he ran. Leaving  her basically homeless and penniless. Her father having been against her and warren's relationship to begin with, added to her situation by basically disowning her the moment Warren had left her at the alter. So having moved out of the New York mansion, she had found a quick job through a friend at a strip club and became a dancer. Having picked herself up to a point where, she was able to get herself a deceit weekly hotel, money for the car she needed and slowly paying and saving  up money for her college tuition that her father had as well stopped payment for.
