Personality

Psychological Background: Cold, calculating and out for himself is what Conley used to be described as. That was until he meet his wife Kristen. He changed and so did his personality for the most part. He soon became more concerned about Kristen then himself.

Personality Quirks: Likes pop, preferably anything along the lines of Pepsi/Coke. Is very adamantly against drugs, having broken his drug addiction at 18.

History

General History: Conley was one of the many children raised in New York’s foster home system. His parents were never known or found. He was an abandoned child, found in a dumpster in an alleyway next to a hotel. All the signs of birth were in one of the rooms, but they never tracked down the woman who rented the room.

He was soon taken to the county hospital and soon put into the foster system. He was like most kids who were shifted from home to home. Never staying in one place for too long.  He was thrown out of one house and put on the street at 10 when his powers all manifested themselves at basically the same time. He could have called the social workers but decided to make it on his own.

He lived on the streets for the next year on his own until he meet a man named Magneto who took him in, Conley’s powers something Magneto could put to good use. He trained him and taught him to believe what Magneto believed about human/mutant relations.

He went living and believing Magneto and his ways till he was taken hostage at 21, by an alien force that wanted to conduct their own experiment. They took two members from each side of the mutant beliefs, one from Magneto’s side and one from Xavier’s and put them collar together in the woods to see what would happen.

What did happen is not what the aliens or Magneto expected. Upon their time together in the woods, Kristen and Conley feel in love. Upon being saved from them, they went their separate ways, but Conley soon showed up on Kristen’s doorstep willing to give up his life for her.

A year later they were married and lived at Xavier’s mansion in New York for the next year very happy and talking about having children, but a bizarre accident soon ended that. When Xavier asked them to take down a lab that was performing experiments on mutants. Upon the raid Kristen was accidentally exposed to the legacy virus.  She was taken home and given the antidote, but something went wrong. She was soon cured, but lapsed into a coma.  Conley stayed by her side for practically the first entire year. Her brain soon pronounced dead, but Charles never had her disconnected from life support, hoping with the mutants they run across and aliens that one day they’d be able to bring her back.  Conley stayed at Xavier’s but his moods changed from happy to darker ones and he has been seen talking to Magneto and his group again since that time.
