History

General History:
Casey and his twin sister were born the first children to Joseph and Betty Blake. He was born into a small town in Dillion SC, where right off they felt something was different...a bit off about the child, since even as a newborn he growled at the nurse.

His parents fortunately, were big mutant advocates, his mother being a higher grade telepath and his father a scientist. What intrigued his parents more, who suspected Casey was a mutant right off, was the fact his twin sister didn't exhibit any outwards signs to show she herself was a mutant.

The fact also that they brought the children home from the hospital and after coming in contact with the family cat, Casey once again growled at the animal and his eyes changed to resemble that of a feline. His parents were indeed interested. To add to their interest was the fact that Casey, as he grew seemed to be able to sense other's emotions and help calm others when they needed it, or make them aggressive, whatever he wanted.

Casey grew up in the small town. By the time he was 5 and to start kindergarten, his parents then knew he was a mutant and did everything they could to control his urges and train him the right way.

As life in a small town was pretty boring, there wasn't much for Casey or his friends to do in the way of rebellion, other then smoke pot and have sex. He seemed to excel at the having sex part, but other then that, he attended school like normal, even having a few girlfriends while he grew.

He also became engaged to a local girl, whom he wanted to marry very much, but his parents thinking his mutation would make that marriage hard, talked him into joining the army instead.

Right upon turning 18, he joined the army, his parents hoping the discipline would help with his mutation as well. He did good, made it threw boot camp and was made a corpman. He soon found that medicine was the place for him and went to medical school in Hawaii where he was stationed, also showing a knack for the sciences.

While stationed there, he meet another mutant named Alex Summers, who later introduced him to Charles Xavier and Casey was soon in New York meeting others and a few years later, sent to the school in Alaska.
