Powers

Mutant Power: Teleportation/telepathy.

Extents (ability): Can bring small objects from any distance if she knows where the object is. The larger the object the shorter the distance. She can teleport herself but only over short distances unless under extreme emotional stress. (IE: freak thing to save life). Telepathy is extremely limited (she has suppressed this ability most of her life).

Personality

Psychological Background: Brianne's father abandoned her and her mother when her mutant powers became evident. However he had done enough damage in the mean time to scar her. Suffering from his abuse she became leery of others and has a hard time trusting anyone. She was involved with one man, Ryan Chamberlain, starting in high school. He too was abusive. Although he allowed her to go to college to eventually get her masters in psychology he never intended for her to practice.

Personality Quirks: Chews on her lip when nervous or scared; will also wrap her arms about herself in either situation. If extremely upset (ie: Scared, Depressed) she will sleep in the closet. (Goes back to the abuse from her father.).

History

General History: Brianne grew up with her mother and father until the age of 13. Her father was extremely abusive to her mother and her; putting them in the hospital a few times. Her father walked out when she was 13. Started dating Ryan when she was 15. When she was 17 her mother died of cancer and she moved in with her steady boyfriend Ryan. Ryan was also abusive and she did try to leave twice. Once he came after her and convinced her it wouldn't happen again; this was early on after she moved in. The second time she hadn't even gotten out of the house when he came home. The punishment she received made sure she didn't try to leave a gain.

Brianne's ability manifested when she was 12. It was during a time when her father was beating her mother with a belt. Suddenly the belt was gone from her father's hand and in her own. Her telepathy started mostly with just her mother although she has been able to pick up others thoughts. She suppressed this ability as much as possible due to having to deal with first her father's thoughts and later Ryan's.

Special Notes: Had a miscarriage while she was living with Ryan. She had found out she was pregnant and this was the second time she had tried to leave due to him demanding and making the appointment for her to have an abortion. He had stopped her from leaving and during the punishment he gave her he caused her to lose the baby.
